Logo & Poster Design
Client Pain Point: “As a new business, we needed a brand identity that felt both timeless and approachable. Our name ‘Bustani’ (Swahili for ‘garden’) had to reflect sophistication without losing warmth, but early drafts felt either too generic or overly ornate.”
The Challenge:
A newly launched liquor house sought to stand out in a competitive market. The design needed to balance elegance with simplicity, resonate with both luxury seekers and casual buyers, and subtly nod to the brand’s name (“garden”) without literal clichés.

Our Solution
- Logo Design:
- Created a custom serif typography for “Bustani” with subtle leaf-inspired flourishes in the letterforms, evoking a garden’s organic elegance.
- Paired it with a minimalist bottle silhouette, using negative space to imply a stem and blossom, symbolizing growth and refinement.
- Chose a deep emerald green and gold palette to reflect luxury, nature, and craft.
- Poster Design:
- Designed a vertical layout for social media and in-store displays, featuring a textured parchment background to evoke aged wine labels.
- Highlighted their curated selection with a central illustration of a stylized grapevine wrapping around a bottle, rendered in gold foil accents.
- Added a tagline: “Where Craft Meets Cultivation” in a clean sans-serif font for contrast.
Results:
- The logo was praised for its “instant recognition” in local market testing, with 89% of surveyed customers associating it with quality.
- The poster drove a 40% increase in opening-week foot traffic and became a staple in their social media campaigns.
